Camino Del Norte - The Northern Camino (2013)

The alarm rings at night at 2:30. The beginning of the Camino El Norte, the Coastal Route. For the last time the backpack and travel documents checked. From Rotterdam to Biarritz by plane and then by bus or train to Hendaye and from there walk to the inn in Irun.
2 June 2013
In the morning at 6:30 am I awakened by angels singing. The inn is completely full so it is improvising for shower and toilet. There is a tough stage ahead. Via Santuario de Guadalupe on the mountain ridge to San Sebastián. 
3 June 2013
At 7 o'clock the alarm goes. I have slight muscle pain so I take a hot shower. The breakfast is good. In the sun I go in the direction of Zarautz.

It's morning and already hot. The beach of Zarautz is deserted. There are two ways to walk to Getaria The first way is through the mountains with lots of climbing and descending. The second possibility is along the coastal road. This one I take.
5 June 2013
Last night I slept very well. Breakfast is ready. Andre from Quebec is also there and together we set off towards Markina-Xemein.
